What Is TV Pools Network?
TV Pools (TVP) Network is an online community for you, the TV-consumed fan. Here, you can start a pool on popular TV shows, awards shows, and sporting events to compete for points on the outcomes—and share your pools publicly or privately.
Send the pool to your friends, co-workers or other TVP members for voting, and prepare for an amazing race. Unlike other pooling sites that offer just a few TV shows to bet on, TVP gives its members complete control over running their own pools for ANY show or event. That means you can create your own questions, mark players' votes correct, and initiate heated debates. Points for each correct vote will automatically be tallied for your pool players, too.
There are no limits to creating and participating in pools, or the number of questions within a pool, either. Simply register for a FREE account to get started.
Meanwhile, check out the Talk About TV forums to dissect and dish all things TV. You know you have a lot to say! Or, catch up on Hugh Laurie, the cast of Survivor and more, in the Entertainment News section for headlines and gab.

So You Think You Can Dance: The Hat Claims Two More Victims
Quick, give me an adjective. I honestly don't have an idea how to describe what just happened on So You Think You Can Dance last night, except that they were things that we didn't expect, but somehow expected, too.
And yes, I was talking about that sinister hat. We've all discussed it before. Vitolio had yet to get a dance that's up his alley. Same goes for Caitlin and Jason. Fan favorite Phillip got another hip-hop routine, and Randi and Evan got something close to their styles, too. So, I wondered about Karla and Vitolio's quickstep, and whether it's a sign that they're going. Or, whether Caitlin and Jason will finally prove themselves after being down in the mud for so long. Or, all those Phillip questions.

The Bachelor: Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney Hear Wedding Bells in the Future
Prior to the interview, Good Morning America flashbacked to the drama that unfolded on the season finale of The Bachelor where Mesnick proposed to winner Melissa Rycroft and later dumped her for runner-up Malaney. The clips were heavy to look at for Mesnick and Malaney since the couple are now trying to put the unpleasant past behind.

American Idol: A Lot of Waiting For The Rest of the Top 10
And then I started wondering if there's actually anything new with the rest of the Top 10 of the recent American Idol season. I mean, we've seen contestants outside the final two get record deals and have pretty successful post-Idol careers. This year is no exception: Kris Allen and Adam Lambert have snagged contracts, as well as fourth-placed Allison Iraheta. And then we wonder about the rest.
E! Online caught up with them as they rehearsed for the it's-getting-seriously-close American Idol summer tour, and then I realized that they're all pretty much in a state of limbo.

'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Parents Swear to Focus on the Kids
Despite news that the launch of Kate's cookbook has been delayed, it seems as though her clothing line has been put off course as well. While her career serves as yet another distraction from raising her children, it shouldn't stop the Gosselin mom from working on her relationship with the family. After all, she did make a promise.

Smallville: Justin Hartley Spills A Lot About Himself
It's actually funny that the three spoilers for Smallville I spotted this week came from Justin Hartley, and only from Justin Hartley. And they're about Justin Hartley. Not implying anything bad here: just a pretty funny thing, at least in my warped and expired sense of humor. Oh well. Here then go those details he's been talking about. I guess the Green Arrow misses shooting those arrows during the break, huh. Oh, and close your eyes if you have to, now.
So what will he be up to? "I think he is going to struggle with the things he has been afforded [as a result of] his powers," he told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. "He has sacrificed things and done things that haunt him... It's bad stuff. We need to get to the bottom of it."

So You Think You Can Dance: With Ridiculously Early 100th Episode Spoilers, It's A Crash Course For Me
I say that because--and I'll never get tired of admitting this--I'm pretty much the So You Think You Can Dance newbie around here. While I'm feeling pretty good about my rooting for Caitlin and Jason's alien condom routine two nights ago, I still think I have miles to go, at least with my dance knowledge. It's funny asking Abbey about what "lines" mean, to be honest.
So there's a little problem when the folks at SYTYCDism--as always, and again, ridiculously early--got their hands on some spoilers for the show's 100th episode, which airs on July 23. And by spoilers, I don't mean the bit with Katie Holmes performing for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, because let's face it, we all knew that already. And then they start talking about old routines from seasons past, and I start having a Michael Scofield-type nosebleed, because I don't know what they're talking about.

'Top Chef' Winner to Appear on Radio Show, Talk about Intuition
"Hosea exhibited remarkable focus and a calm confidence during last season's Top Chef," says co host Amy Grant. "He was such a pleasure to watch that I was excited to see him win. Meeting him in person was like meeting an old friend - he seems very much the same as he appeared on television."
The judges of Top Chef reportedly made a number of references on intuition throughout the season, which Grant describes as "a natural part of great cooking." She adds that, "anyone can follow a recipe, but it is only through intuition that new flavor combinations can be created."
Prior to his sting on Top Chef, Rosenberg was the head chef at Jax Fish House in Boulder. For winning Top Chef, he received a cash prize of $100,000, on top of a showcase at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.

Did 'America's Got Talent' Find its Susan Boyle?
Thirty-five-year-old Kevin Skinner strutted into the stage in a gray wool jacket and washed up jeans. In the introduction, he said he plays the guitar and writes songs. "In the country, things move just a little slower than they do in the big city. I'm a down home kind of country boy. I like hunting fish. It can get real interesting. It's nice to sit out on the porch. You know, a good place to gather all your thoughts and maybe even count some stars. When I go out on stage, I hope that the crowd will like what I'm doing."

So You Think You Can Dance: Final 14 Results Show, Live Thoughts (Page 1/2)
As much as I love Wednesday night, Thursday always leaves me feeling a
little queasy an uneasy. While every elimination this season has been
difficult and nerve-racking, tonight's should be especially so. All of
the remaining dancers are talented and joy to watch on stage and all of
them more likely than not deserve to be in the top 10 and on the So You
Think You Can Dance tour, but we have four eliminations before that
milestone.
In spite of popularity, I fully expect to see some new faces in the
bottom three this week. However, if some of the repeated guests in the
Bottom 3 (Caitlin & Jason, Karla & Vitolio) find themselves
dancing for their lives, it would have to be an incredible solo to save
them. While the pending eliminations are upsetting, one thing about
tonight's results show isn't. Of course, I'm talking about Kelly
Clarkson being the musical guest, which is our best hope this season to
see someone actually sing. As proved last night, the musical guests can
leave the lip syncing to Brandon and Janette.

'America's Next Top Model' Winner Adrianne Curry Refused 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here'; Shuns 'Jon and Kate Plus 8'
While the second season of the show has already come and gone, it's still worth noting that the fashion model didn't want anything to do with it. Earlier on, there was plenty of comings and goings on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here - particularly that of Spencer and Heidi Pratt. Apparently, the program's executives thought Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight would like to fill in. They blatantly refused.

Exclusive Interview with Merlin from 'The Fashion Show'
Merlin started out his stint on The Fashion Show with a bang, instantly getting in a fight with Daniella and trying to position himself as top dog. To be fair, Merlin was supposed to be head designer that first week and Daniella wasn't trying very hard to work with him. This last week, Merlin was on his own and finally came up short. Although Merlin and Johnny R. had the same inspiration card, but Merlin's bright yellow mess of sweat pants fell flat. I had the opportunity to speak with him today about his time on The Fashion Show, the other contestants and his sense of style.
Overall, Merlin seems happy with his experience but was careful to point out that all of the other contestants hated him. Maybe because he's different or maybe because he's too confident. Either way, it's clear they didn't want him there.

Big Brother 11: Who is the 13th Houseguest and What are the Cliques?
CBS has announced 12 of the houseguests for Big Brother 11 and revealed
that, as rumored, the theme this season is all about high school
cliques. The contestants will play in one of four groups: the popular
kids, the athletes, the brainiacs, and the off-beats. Based on their
short bios, it's pretty easy to figure out where each houseguest will
be.
However, there will be a 13th houseguest, but that person's identity is
a mystery until the premiere on Thursday, July 9 at 8pm. The fact that
the houseguest is a mystery strongly implies that it's someone we
already know, otherwise there's no point to the mystery. Will it be a
former Big Brother houseguest? A celebrity? The unborn child of Julie
Chen?

Neil Patrick Harris WILL Host Emmys
UPDATE: Multiple sources now confirm that NPH will host the 2009 Emmy Awards.
Fresh from his successful stint as this year's Tony Awards host, How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris is reportedly in talks to host the 61st Emmy Awards on September 20.
Last year, the award show, which celebrates the best achievements in television, was co-hosted by five reality TV mainstays: Dancing with the Stars' Tom Bergeron, Project Runway's Heidi Klum, American Idol's Ryan Seacrest, Deal or No Deal's Howie Mandel and Survivor's Jeff Probst. The schizophrenic lineup was lambasted by critics for their poor chemistry and weak jokes.
Harris as the Emmys host would also provide CBS ample opportunity for How I Met Your Mother plugs, which debuts its fifth season on the network the following night.

'Big Brother 11' Houseguest Braden's Nude TV Past
Typically on Big Brother, fans have to wait for the 24/7 live
feeds to give in to their voyeuristic nature and spy on the
houseguests, hoping for all the bad language, revelatory secrets and,
of course, nudity. Last season Crazy James redefined the notion of a Big Brother scandal when it was revealed that he had starred in several gay pornographic films.
While Big Brother 11's Braden Bacha doesn't quite live up to
that scandal, he does have a bit of a racy past of his own. As an
actor, he guest starred on the gay-themed series Dante's Cove,
which airs on here!, a TV channel I've never heard of, but which is
apparently a gay-themed television network other than Logo. It's not
quite X-rated, but Braden did strip down for the series, leaving
nothing to the imagination.

So You Think You Can Dance: The Final 14, Who's Going Home?
Man, if you thought the judges had a hard decision the past three
weeks, what they are facing tonight must be down right impossible. Last
night we saw the dancers who wowed us during week one again.
Performance after performance was spot on and even the disappointments
of the evening were danced well. I think we're going to see some
unfamiliar faces in the Bottom Three this week, though popularity could
again play a bigger role than performance. Whoever ends up dancing for
their lives and whoever is sent home, is going to a big loss to the
show...and it's only going get worse from here.
Though I'm not as certain as in past weeks, I know who I think is going to be in danger tonight, America and I
have disagreed before. So you don't have to just take my word, I've
compiled the data from Fantasy TV picks slideshow rearrangements, showdowns, and poll votes to help deduce
who we think will be going home tonight and who you think the front
runners are after week four.

American Idol: Kris Allen on Michael Jackson
We've probably had some sort of Michael Jackson overflow over the past few days, but I think this is one of the more interesting angles I've seen: if not for his songs, Kris Allen wouldn't have won American Idol.
Okay. Tall order, that one. Sure, Kris started his bid for votes with an MJ song, and kicked off his Top 13 campaign with a stripped down (and more comfortable, arguably) "Remember the Time", but it was in the middle of the competition when he finally established himself as one with "artistry" and eventually gave him the closely-contested win. More so, consider that Kris wasn't born when the King of Pop's biggest hits crashed the airwaves and turned him into who he is, for better or worse.
